More PATCO Trains On Sunday: Go Birds!

Expanded Service for Eagles NFC Championship Game Travelers

PATCO will operate expanded service on Sunday, January 26, to accommodate fans traveling to Philadelphia for the Eagles NFC Championship Game. The game is expected to bring higher ridership, as fans head to the stadium, local spots to watch the game, and for post-game celebrations.

Service details:

  • Increased Service Frequency: Trains will run every 20 minutes (instead of the usual 30-minute intervals) from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Normal Sunday service will operate before 10:00 a.m. and after 11:00 p.m.
  • Standby Trains Ready: Additional trains will be available to supplement the schedule and meet higher ridership demands.

The Philadelphia Eagles face Washington Commanders in NFC championship game at Lincoln Financial Field at 3:00 p.m. Fans heading to the game should exit at 12/13th & Locust Street Station and proceed to street level to transfer to SEPTA’s Broad Street Line (B) at Broad & Locust Streets for service to Lincoln Financial Field.

The increased train frequency will also serve those celebrating an Eagles victory in the city.
