Commodore Barry Bridge Eastbound Travel Alert for the Week of August 26

Please be advised that the eastbound lanes of the Commodore Barry Bridge will be closed to traffic for several 20-minute intervals during the week of August 26, between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

These periodic closures are necessary to allow workers to install work platforms as part of ongoing bridge repair work. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience and cooperation during this time.

Motorists are advised to plan their travel accordingly and expect potential delays. Thank you for your understanding as we work to maintain and improve our infrastructure.

Alternate Route: Motorists are encouraged to use the Walt Whitman Bridge as an alternate route to avoid delays.
