Commodore Barry Bridge Deck Repair Work To Occur Overnight For 8 Weeks
The Delaware River Port Authority (DRPA) will perform deck repair work on the Commodore Barry Bridge beginning on October 11 and lasting approximately eight weeks. The work is planned to occur Monday through Thursday overnights beginning at 7 p.m. and ending at 5 a.m., weather depending.
As a result of the repair work, only one westbound lane to PA will be open to motorists.
What to expect:
- Motorists: Construction work zones with lane closures and reduced speed limits. Motorists are advised to allow additional travel time and consider an alternate route, such as the Walt Whitman Bridge.
The Authority currently has $738.9 million in ongoing capital projects to maintain, improve and upgrade our four bridges and the PATCO transit line. To learn more, click here.
