BEN FRANKLIN BRIDGE TO HAVE ONE LANE OPEN WESTBOUND DURING THE OVERNIGHT HOURS ON AUGUST 15-18

As the result of construction work, only one westbound lane will be open on the Ben Franklin Bridge during the overnight hours during the week of August 15, 2022.

Monday (8/15), Tuesday (8/16), Wednesday (8/17), and Thursday (8/18)

• 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. - 2 lanes to PA & 2 lanes to NJ
• 10 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. - 1 lane to PA & 2 lanes to NJ

Motorists are advised to allow additional travel time or to use the Walt Whitman or Betsy Ross Bridge during this time.

The work is part of the $216.9M Benjamin Franklin Bridge Rehabilitation of Suspension Spans and Anchorages Project which began in 2020.
