BEN FRANKLIN BRIDGE DOWN TO ONE LANE WESTBOUND DURING THE OVERNIGHT HOURS ON JULY 20, 21, and 22.


As the result of construction work, only one westbound lane will be open on the Ben Franklin Bridge during the overnight hours of Wednesday, July 20, Thursday, July 21, and Friday, July 22.

Wednesday (7/20), Thursday (7/21), and Friday (7/22)

  • 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. - 2 lanes to PA & 2 lanes to NJ
  • 10 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. - 1 lane to PA & 2 lanes to NJ

Motorists are advised to allow additional travel time or to use the Walt Whitman or Betsy Ross Bridge during this time.

The work is part of the $216.9M Benjamin Franklin Bridge Rehabilitation of Suspension Spans and Anchorages Project which began in 2020.
