WALT WHITMAN BRIDGE TRAVEL ALERT - 3 LANES OPEN TO PA DURING THURSDAY, 3/31 MORNING RUSH HOURS

Walt Whitman Bridge motorists are being asked to allow additional travel time during the morning rush hours on Thursday, March 31. The bridge will have only three westbound lanes open to Pennsylvania instead of the normal four lanes during weekday morning rush hours.

The lane configuration is a result of a repair needed to the barrier mover machine. Until the repair is completed, DRPA will not be able to move the barrier wall from its current configuration to accommodate traffic demand.
