DRPA Chief Administrative Officer
Honored For Community Impact
Delaware River Port Authority Chief Administrative Officer Toni P. Brown was honored with an award from the African American Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey.
CAO Brown received the "Community Award" at the Chamber's Circle of Achievement Gala on February 17, 2022.
The award recognizes the hard work that Brown has done as the Authority’s CAO and her impact on the workplace community, as well as the regional community.
A few areas of impact include Brown’s work on policies, programs, and other initiatives related to the DRPA’s Minority Business Enterprise and Women’s Business Enterprise programs, EEO policies that have created and cultivated a workplace that is welcoming and accepting to all, initiatives that have raised awareness about opioid addiction. In addition, Brown is recognized for leading the COVID-19 Task Force, as well as helping to make Juneteenth a paid holiday for all employees, among other initiatives.
“This award is well-deserved, and we appreciate her leadership and steadfast dedication to diversity and inclusion at our agency,” said DRPA CEO John Hanson.
