DRPA Commissioner Angelina Perryman Named to National Associated General Contractors of America Leadership Council Steering Committee
Third-generation construction executive will bring extensive construction and leadership knowledge on a national level
Angelina Perryman, DRPA Commissioner, was recently named to the Associated General Contractors of America Leadership Council Steering Committee and will serve from 2022-2025.
The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) is the leading association for the construction industry. AGC represents more than 27,000 firms, including over 6,500 of America’s leading general contractors and over 9,000 specialty-contracting firms. In addition, more than 10,500 service providers and suppliers are associated with AGC through a nationwide network of chapters.
The national AGC steering committee serves as a conduit for participants to network, exchange ideas about work and the industry, and serve local communities and continuing education, including professional development and leadership skills.
“It’s a true honor to join the AGC’s Leadership Council Steering Committee,” said Perryman. “I am excited to share insights and experiences to help shape the future of the construction industry.”
Ms. Perryman is the Vice President of Administration for Perryman Construction in Philadelphia. Ms. Perryman is the third generation of the Perryman family at the firm and manages contracts, risk avoidance, human resources, technology, and next-generation strategic and corporate planning. She earned a Bachelor of Administration from Temple University in Philadelphia and attended the Executive Leadership Education program at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth University in Hanover, NH. Ms. Perryman has been a member of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) for more than six years serving in various positions, including Director, Vice President, President, Immediate Past President. She was appointed to the DRPA’s Board of Commissioners in 2018 by Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf.
