Body-worn Camera Program Lauches for all Police Officers
On May 28, 2021, the Delaware River Port Authority Police Department will launch its body-worn camera program for all officers. The department has deployed the Motorola/Watchguard V300 Body Cameras which are a durable high-definition camera worn on the front of officer’s uniforms. The V300 (pictured) wirelessly uploads the video and audio captured to a secure cloud-based site where video can be reviewed by police administrators.
The Delaware River Port Authority Police Department welcomes this addition to our agency as it will enhance officer safety, promote police accountability, assist in prosecutions, provide a transparent unbiased view of interactions between our officers, and the public we serve and interact with daily.
