5th Street Vehicular Tunnel to Close on 11/26 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Between the hours of 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26, 2019, the 5th Street Vehicular Tunnel will be closed to vehicles and bicycles due to roadway painting.

Motorists and bicyclists are advised to use alternate routes to travel north on 5th Street.

The tunnel, which runs underneath the base of the Ben Franklin Bridge, is located between Callowhill and Race Streets in Philadelphia.
