5th Street Vehicular Tunnel to Close for Several Hours on 10/15/19

Between the hours of 5 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, the 5th Street Vehicular Tunnel will be closed to vehicles and bicycles due to necessary maintenance work.

The work includes the removal of bicycle delineators, street sweeping and maintenance repairs.

Motorists and bicyclists are advised to use alternate routes to travel north on 5th Street.

The tunnel, which runs underneath the base of the Ben Franklin Bridge, is located between Callowhill and Race Streets in Philadelphia.
