BEN FRANKLIN BRIDGE TRAVEL ALERT – 3 LANES OPEN TO NJ DURING MONDAY, 7/8 EVENING RUSH HOURS
Ben Franklin Bridge motorists are being asked to consider an alternate bridge or allow additional travel time during the evening rush hours on Monday, July 8. The bridge will have only three eastbound lanes open to New Jersey instead of the normal four during weekday rush hours. There will be four lanes open westbound to Pennsylvania.
The lane configuration is a result of emergency repairs required with the bridge’s barrier wall. Until the repairs are completed, DRPA will not be able to move the barrier wall from its current configuration to accommodate traffic demand.

UPDATE:
Tuesday, 7/9/19 • 2 a.m.
