Ben Franklin Bridge 5th Street Philadelphia Exit Ramp Temporarily Closed on Sept. 15 & 16 from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Replacement of a roadway crash attenuator at the base of the Ben Franklin Bridge westbound at the 5th Street exit ramp will result in the closure of the 5th Street exit ramp and detour routing from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, 9/15 and Sunday, 9/16.

Motorists trying to reach Northern Liberties (via 5th Street), Society Hill or Old City (via 4th Street) are advised to continue westbound on the bridge to the intersection of Franklin and Vine streets and then make a right turn onto 7th Street North. Detour signs will be in place.

The schedule is subject to change depending on weather conditions.
