Ben Franklin Bridge Travel Alert - 3 Lanes Open To NJ During 8/8 Evening Rush Hours

Ben Franklin Bridge motorists are being asked to allow additional travel time during the evening rush hours on Tuesday, August 8. There will be 3 lanes open eastbound to New Jersey instead of the normal 4 lanes during the rush hours. This could result in traffic delays traveling in to New Jersey during the afternoon rush hour. There will be 3 lanes open westbound to Pennsylvania.
 
The lane configuration is a result of an emergency asphalt repairs on the bridge's eastbound outer lane. Crews are prepping the repair areas and will return this evening to patch. The lane is expected to reopen and be available for Wednesday's evening rush hours.
