DRPA Reminds Customers to Enroll in Bridge Commuter Discount by December 28th

NJ E-ZPass customers must enroll by midnight on December 28th to receive credit for December 
                                                                                                                                                                                         
CAMDEN, N.J. - The Delaware River Port Authority (DRPA) issued a reminder today to NJ E-ZPass customers that enrollment for the bridge commuter discount must be completed by midnight on December 28th to receive the discount in their January 2016 transactions.  The commuter discount for frequent travelers over the four bridges which connect Pennsylvania with South Jersey went into effect on December 1st, 2015.

“We are strongly encouraging NJ E-ZPass customers to take a few minutes to enroll in the DRPA frequent bridge commuter discount program,” said DRPA CEO John T. Hanson. “You must enroll at www.ezpassnj.com. To assist our customers, we also have detailed enrollment instructions on our website (www.DRPA.org).”

The DRPA Discount plan provides a credit of $18.00 for an enrolled NJ E-ZPass for commuters making 18 or more trips on any of the DRPA bridges in a calendar month. The program includes trips across the Benjamin Franklin Bridge, the Betsy Ross Bridge, the Commodore Barry Bridge and the Walt Whitman Bridge. The discount is credited to the commuter’s E-ZPass account each month for trips taken the previous month. The discount is offered to private accounts only and cannot be combined with other DRPA Bridge Toll discount programs.

Enrollment is available on an ongoing basis so customers who do not enroll by December 28th, may enroll in subsequent months to receive the credit beginning in the month of enrollment. Once you enroll, credits will be applied automatically in the next month’s statement so no additional action needs to be taken.

To enroll, account holders must login to their NJ E-ZPass account at www.ezpassnj.com. You will need your four-digit security PIN to complete your enrollment online.   If you do not have a NJ E-ZPass account then select “Sign Up Now” on the homepage.
