DRPA Bridge Commuter Discount Begins on December 1st
NJ E-Z Pass customers must enroll to receive the frequent traveler discount
CAMDEN, N.J. (November 24, 2015): The Delaware River Port Authority (DRPA) has announced that the commuter discount for frequent travelers over the four bridges which connect Pennsylvania with South Jersey, will go into effect as of December 1st, 2015.
To participate in the new discount plan, you must enroll. The DRPA Discount plan provides a credit of $18.00 for an enrolled NJ E-ZPass for commuters making 18 or more trips on any of the DRPA bridges in a calendar month. The program includes trips across the Benjamin Franklin Bridge, the Betsy Ross Bridge, the Commodore Barry Bridge and the Walt Whitman Bridge. The discount is credited to the commuter’s E-ZPass account each month for trips taken the previous month. The discount is offered to private accounts only and cannot be combined with other DRPA Bridge Toll discount programs.
To enroll, account holders must login to their NJ E-ZPass account at www.ezpassnj.com starting December 1st to add this plan to their tag(s). You will need your four-digit security PIN to complete your enrollment online. If you do not have a NJ E-ZPass account then select “Sign Up Now” on the homepage.
Customers must enroll no later than December 28th, to receive the credit for the month of December. Once you enroll, credits will be applied automatically so no additional action needs to be taken.
