Pedestrian tunnel under Ben Franklin Bridge in Phila. closed for maintenance.

Closure begins Monday, August 24th
For the next month, the tunnel that connects the Ben Franklin Bridge footwalks and provides access to pedestrians walking  north and south under the bridge on the Philadelphia side, will be closed for rehabilitation. 

The pedestrian tunnel will close beginning Monday morning at approximately 7 a.m.   Repairs will be made on the walls, ceilings, and stairways.

We regret any inconvenience for our neighbors who use this tunnel.
