Ben Franklin Bridge Traffic Advisory - Westbound to Philadelphia

Expect delays westbound into Philadelphia during rush hours especially through the toll plaza and merge onto the bridge.

Until further notice, there will only be three lanes open at the start of the New Jersey side of the Ben Franklin Bridge during rush hours. The far right bridge lane (Lane No. 1) will be closed for approximately 700' from the start of the bridge until the start of the steel parapet wall barrier. After this point, the usual four lanes will be open for the rest of the span during rush hour.

This partial lane closure is needed for construction work.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling westbound during rush hour and to consider using the Walt Whitman, Betsy Ross Bridges or PATCO.
