SPECIAL TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Walt Whitman Bridge 8/4-8/7
DRPA Advises Drivers to Expect Delays and Plan Accordingly
Motorists crossing the Walt Whitman Bridge during the week of August 4th should expect delays caused by ongoing construction. Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time and use the Ben Franklin Bridge, the Commodore Barry Bridge or PATCO.
Monday (8/4) and Tuesday (8/5)
- 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. – There will be three lanes open to Pennsylvania and two lanes open to New Jersey.
- 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. – There will be four lanes open to New Jersey and three lanes open to Pennsylvania
Wednesday (8/6) and Thursday (8/7)
- 6 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. – There will be three lanes open to New Jersey and three lanes open to Pennsylvania.
- 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. – There will be three lanes open to New Jersey and two lanes open to Pennsylvania.
Until further notice, there will be a restriction on vehicles exceeding 80,000 pounds.
