Walt Whitman Bridge Alert - Overturned Truck - Avoid Front Street Exit - Use I-76 Exits Into South Philadelphia

An overturned fruit truck is partially blocking the westbound, Front Street exit north (to the right) of the Walt Whitman Bridge toll plaza.  Because the cargo must be unloaded from the truck before it can be removed, the exit ramp probably will be obstructed until at least 7 p.m.

 

The DRPA advises westbound motorists headed to tonight’s Phillies game to avoid the Front Street exit by continuing through the toll plaza to the I-76 Broad Street exit or to one of the other I-76 exits leading into South Philadelphia.
