Ben Franklin Bridge July Lighting to Honor American Independence and the Sunshine Foundation

The Delaware River Port Authority announced the Benjamin Franklin Bridge lighting schedule for the month of July.

The bridge will be lit the following colors on the following evenings:

  • June 25 through July 4 – Red, white and blue to celebrate Independence Day by adding extra glitter to the Delaware River fireworks.
  • July 8 through July 15 – Yellow to illuminate the Sunshine Foundation’s “Crown Lights Awareness Campaign,” an effort to focus public attention on children with severe chronic illness, serious illness and special needs.  During the week, Sunshine Foundation chapters across the region will host special events, including the Southern Ocean Chapter’s July 14 Fishing Tournament – the largest single-line fishing tournament on the New Jersey coast.
