Commodore Barry Bridge Traffic Alert

Traffic delays can be expected the next two weekends as PENNDOT completes its ramp construction connecting the Commodore Barry Bridge with Pennsylvania Route 291 in Chester.

Beginning at 8 pm Friday, July 22, and continuing through 6am Monday, July 25, and then again starting at 8pm Friday, July 29, and continuing through 6am Monday, August 1, lane restrictions will be implemented to allow for the installation of two new gantries on the Pennsylvania side of the bridge.  At times only one lane will be open in each direction.

The Delaware River Port Authority is a regional transportation agency.  DRPA owns and operates the Benjamin Franklin, Walt Whitman, Commodore Barry and Betsy Ross Bridges, and PATCO.  The DRPA also owns the RiverLink Ferry.
