Ben Franklin Bridge Sixth Street Pedestrian Tunnel In Camden Reopening

The Ben Franklin Bridge 6th street pedestrian tunnel in Camden, New Jersey, is scheduled to reopen on Thursday, January 20th, at noon.

Two months of extensive repairs to the tunnel’s drainage system have been completed which included a deep excavation, selective demolition, piping repairs and multiple concrete pours.

The Delaware River Port Authority is a regional transportation agency. DRPA owns and operates the Benjamin Franklin, Walt Whitman, Commodore Barry and Betsy Ross Bridges, and PATCO. The DRPA also owns the RiverLink Ferry.
