Ben Franklin Bridge 6th Street Pedestrian Tunnel In Camden Temporarily Closed Until Further Notice
Maintenance work on the sixth street pedestrian tunnel under the Ben Franklin Bridge in Camden resulted in the tunnel being closed from 7:00 am Monday, November 8 until further notice. The maintenance work includes underground drainage repairs and power washing of the tunnel’s floor, walls and ceiling. Detours are posted.
Those who normally use the 6th Street tunnel should use either the 5th Street tunnel or the 7th Street overpass.
The Delaware River Port Authority is a regional transportation agency. DRPA owns and operates the Benjamin Franklin, Walt Whitman, Commodore Barry and Betsy Ross Bridges, PATCO and the Philadelphia Cruise Terminal. The DRPA also owns the RiverLink Ferry.
