Ben Franklin Bridge to Close Sunday, July 26, from 7:15am to 8:15am
Ben Franklin Bridge To Be Closed For 22nd Annual Tour De Shore
The 22nd annual Irish Pub Tour de Shore benefiting police and fire related charities takes place on Sunday, July 26. An estimated 600 cyclists will cross the bridge on their way to the Jersey Shore. The 65 mile bike tour begins at the Irish Pub, 20th and Walnut Streets in Philadelphia, and ends at the Irish Pub & Inn in Atlantic City. Officials hope to raise more than $100,000 for the Daniel Faulkner Educational Grant Fund, the Hero Thrill Show and the Philadelphia Police Survivor’s Fund.
The Ben Franklin Bridge will be closed to all vehicular traffic on SUNDAY, JULY 26, FROM 7:15AM UNTIL 8:15AM for the Tour de Shore.
The Delaware River Port Authority is a regional transportation agency. DRPA owns and operates the Benjamin Franklin, Walt Whitman, Commodore Barry and Betsy Ross Bridges, and PATCO, the Philadelphia Cruise Terminal and owns the RiverLink Ferry.
