Commodore Barry Bridge Intermittent Closures On March 12, 17 & 20
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation will be working on the ramps connecting I-95 with the Commodore Barry Bridge in Chester during the early morning hours of March 12, 17 & 20.
As a result of the PENNDOT construction, the Commodore Barry Bridge will close for 15 minutes sometime between 1am and 4am on March 12. On March 17 & 20 there are scheduled to be two 15 minute closures each day between 1am and 4am.
Drivers who normally use the Commodore Barry Bridge during the early morning hours on the effected dates should consider the Walt Whitman Bridge as an alternate.
The Delaware River Port Authority is a regional transportation agency. DRPA owns and operates the Benjamin Franklin, Walt Whitman, Commodore Barry and Betsy Ross Bridges, PATCO and the Philadelphia Cruise Terminal. The DRPA also owns the RiverLink Ferry.
