Commodore Barry Bridge Joint Replacement Project Is Now Complete

Work on the Commodore Barry Bridge Joint Replacement Project is complete. Bridge lane configuration is back to normal with two lanes open in each direction. In addition, the ramp from Rt 13/9th Street in Chester to the bridge has re-opened.
 
Please be advised that the contractor still needs to put the finishing touches on the project so there will be occasional lane closures until mid-January.

The eight million dollar project involving the replacement of 74 compression seal joints began in May.
