Ben Franklin Bridge 5th Street Tunnel Closure

On Tuesday, October 28th at 7am the 5th street vehicular tunnel under the Ben Franklin Bridge, will be closed to traffic for electrical repairs.

The tunnel is expected to reopen Thursday, October 30th at 3pm.

Traffic will be detoured to use the left side of 5th street to Race street.
The Delaware River Port Authority is a regional transportation agency.  DRPA owns and operates the Benjamin Franklin, Walt Whitman, Commodore Barry and Betsy Ross Bridges, and PATCO, the Philadelphia Cruise Terminal and the RiverLink Ferry.
