Ben Franklin Bridge to Host Two Charity Events Sunday On South Walkway


Walkway Will Open To General Public At Noon On September 28The Delaware River Port Authority will host two charity events at the Benjamin Franklin Bridge pedestrian walkway this Sunday, September 28. More than 2,500 people are estimated to take part in the two events—City of Hope’s 4th Annual Walk to Cure Breast Cancer and the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition Walk. The south walkway will be closed to the public until 12 noon.
 

Benjamin Franklin Bridge vehicular traffic and PATCO service will not be affected by the event.

The Delaware River Port Authority is a regional transportation agency. DRPA owns and operates the Benjamin Franklin, Walt Whitman, Commodore Barry and Betsy Ross bridges, PATCO, the Philadelphia Cruise Terminal and the RiverLink Ferry System.
