Ben Franklin Bridge Lane Restrictions Between 8 PM & 5 AM On Aug 25 Thru Aug 28
The Delaware River Port Authority is advising drivers who use the Ben Franklin Bridge between 8pm and 5am there will be lane restrictions between August 25 and August 28 caused by the de-leading and painting project which is now in progress.
From about 8pm thru 5am August 25 thru August 28 two westbound travel lanes will be closed. The lanes affected are the two lanes on the north side of the Ben Franklin Bridge.
Drivers are advised there could be some traffic congestion on August 26 and August 27 because of concerts at the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden. “Journey” performs on August 26 and there is a sold out “Jonas Brothers” concert on August 27. Drivers leaving those concerts and returning to Philadelphia on the Ben Franklin Bridge will be affected by the lane closures.
The Delaware River Port Authority is a regional transportation agency. DRPA owns and operates the Benjamin Franklin, Walt Whitman, Commodore Barry and Betsy Ross Bridges, and PATCO, the Philadelphia Cruise Terminal and the RiverLink Ferry.
