Commodore Barry Bridge Closes for Race/Walk

The Commodore Barry Bridge will be closed to all vehicular traffic on Sunday morning, April 27, for a walk and run to benefit the Center for Resolutions of Delaware County. Traffic will not be permitted on the bridge from 8:45 a.m. to approximately 10:30 a.m.

The Commodore Barry Bridge links Bridgeport, NJ, with Chester, PA. Drivers are urged to use an alternate route during this time.

Several hundred runners and walkers are expected to take part in the 10K/5K run or 5K fun walk that starts and ends on the New Jersey side of the Bridge. Pre-registration is available at www.Active.com. Race day registration will be available from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. for $25. The event starts promptly at 9 a.m.

Center for Resolutions is a nonprofit organization that provides conflict resolution services to the tri-state area. For more information on the race/walk, call 610-566-7710.
