Ben Franklin Bridge Closed Eastbound Sunday, July 15 From 6:30 AM To 7:45 AM

The Benjamin Franklin Bridge will be closed to eastbound vehicular traffic from approximately 7:45 to 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 15, for the 35th Annual American Cancer Society Bike-A-Thon. The race begins on 5th Street in Philadelphia and will proceed over the Benjamin Franklin Bridge into South Jersey. Race officials expect more than 4,500 cyclists to participate. The American Cancer Society Bike-A-Thon is open to riders of all skill levels. Officials hope to raise $1.6 million for cancer research. The PATCO High Speed Line will not be affected by the race.
