Benjamin Franklin Bridge Goes Green with Eagles Fever
E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES! The Benjamin Franklin Bridge is putting on its Eagles uniform every night this weekend in support of the Eagles play-off game against the New York Giants this Sunday. At dusk each night, from Friday, January 5 through Sunday, January 7, the bridge will be illuminated in Eagles green and white. Fans who wish to avoid driving can take the PATCO High Speed Line and purchase a discount roundtrip SEPTA transfer for $2.10 at all New Jersey PATCO stations. Exit PATCO at the 12th/13th and Locust Street station. Follow signs in the concourse to the Broad Street Line South. On the Walt Whitman Bridge there will be three lanes heading into Philadelphia and four lanes heading into New Jersey to accommodate game traffic.Go Eagles!
In addition to the Benjamin Franklin Bridge, the Delaware River Port Authority owns and operates the Walt Whitman, Commodore Barry and Betsy Ross bridges, the PATCO High Speed Line, the RiverLink Ferry and the Philadelphia Cruise Terminal at Pier 1.[ Return to List ]
