Ben Franklin Bridge 5th Street Pedestrian Tunnel Re-Opens

The 5th Street Pedestrian Tunnel under the Benjamin Franklin Bridge in Philadelphia is now open. The tunnel was closed for several months for repairs. The 5th Street Pedestrian Tunnel connects the north and south footwalks under the bridge. For updated travel information visit our website at www.drpa.org. The Delaware River Port Authority is a regional transportation and development agency. DRPA owns and operates the Benjamin Franklin, Walt Whitman, Commodore Barry and Betsy Ross bridges, the PATCO High Speed Line, the Philadelphia Cruise Terminal at Pier 1 and the RiverLink Ferry.
