South Jersey Waterfront Master Plan Presentation

On Thursday, November 9, officials at the Delaware River Port Authority presented and discussed the Salem and Gloucester counties portion of Southern New Jersey Waterfront Master Plan to the residents of Salem and Gloucester counties. The study seeks to identify current and proposed studies and evaluate a range of land use alternatives that promote economic, residential and open space development along the more than 50 miles of Delaware riverfront in Camden, Gloucester, and Salem counties. The project goal is to establish a coordinated regional development and implementation plan of port-related and residential/commercial/recreational uses for this area. A second meeting will be held for residents of Camden County. Click here to see a copy of the November 9, 2006 media presentation for the Salem and Gloucester counties (PDF 4.6 MB).
