Traffic Advisory: I-95 South / Packer Avenue Ramp Closure

For motorists traveling south on I-95 who typically use the Packer Avenue exit, the ramp from Exit 19 to Packer Avenue / Front Street is closed through May 17 to allow for construction by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

What to know:

  • The Packer Avenue ramp from Exit 19 is closed
  • The ramp to the Walt Whitman Bridge from Exit 19 remains open
  • Motorists who take Exit 19 will only have access to the bridge into New Jersey


Detour:
Motorists should use Exit 17 (Broad Street) for access to the sports complex and nearby areas.

Event travel:
Drivers heading to games and events in South Philadelphia should expect heavier traffic and allow extra travel time. Plan ahead and follow posted detours.
