Ben Franklin Bridge to Feature Special Decorative Lighting in March

As part of its commitment to community stewardship and support of regional non-profit organizations, the Delaware River Port Authority (DRPA) will display special decorative lighting on the Ben Franklin Bridge throughout the month in recognition of select causes and community events.

The Ben Franklin Bridge features a decorative lighting system that can be customized with specific colors to mark special occasions, commemorate important causes, or enhance community-focused events. These lighting displays serve as a visible symbol of DRPA’s partnership with the communities it serves.

Organizations affiliated with recognized causes or events may request special lighting consideration. Requests are reviewed in accordance with DRPA guidelines and availability. To submit a decorative lighting request, click here. 

This Month's Lighting Schedule:

• March 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7: Purple for Women’s History Month
• March 8: Purple for International Women’s Day
• March 17: Green for St. Patrick’s Day
• March 20: Blue for SUDC (Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood) Awareness
• March 22: Red for Bleeding Disorders Awareness Month 
• March 23: Red for Phillies Opening Day
• March 25 & 26: Red for Phillies Opening Day
• March 31: Purple for Women’s History Month
